Before the Sky Clears captures the atmosphere of a city core suspended in shifting light.
Intersecting vertical and horizontal lines form a clear architectural framework, grounding a dense cluster of layered geometric forms at the center. The surrounding field moves through soft greys, blush tones, and charcoal, with a bold red band along the lower edge suggesting horizon or terrain.
Multiple kiln firings create dimensional depth and subtle shadow between elements. The balance of structure and open space gives the composition clarity while maintaining a sense of movement and weather.
A square-format piece that reflects transition — the moment just before conditions settle and the landscape comes back into focus.
The fused glass artwork is mounted to a deep, 18"x18"x2" whitewashed wood panel and is wired and ready to hang. I also added my signature glass “Tattoo” to the side of the panel. The tattoo design mimics the design on the front of the panel.
