John’s artistic influences come from the work of Mark Rothko and W Turner. Abstract and minimalism play an important role in his work. John is a self taught artist, formally known as John Downie. He now paints under the name John Trevorrow. His main inspirations come from the coastlines and dramatic skies of his homeland, Scotland.
