The negative for this print is an image created by the repeated immersion into photographic developer and photographic fixer of a sheet of expired Kodak Medalist black and white paper coated in lacquer. As the lacquer resist cracks and erodes, marks are formed on the paper. The work is done in ordinary light, causing the paper to develop color. Once completed the image was scanned and further enhanced digitally.
