Ivory letterman cardigan sweater worn and owned by William C. Snowden, Union Kempsville High School Class of 1966.
Description:
Ivory V-neck ribbed knit letterman cardigan sweater with 6 white plastic buttons. A large red “UK” chenille letter patch with a small gold football sewn on right side. Red embroidered text reads “W.C. Snowden / Jake"” in cursive font on upper right side of front bodice. Red embroidered text on left side of front of letterman sweater bodice reads, "Union Kempsville / Tigers". Under embroidered text on left side of front bodice is a red chenille star patch, and a grey football patch with red text that reads, “District Co-Champs /19 65 / Union Kempsville High School / State Runners-Up”. 2 red chenille stripes are on right sleeve, and a red chenille number “60” patch and star patch of the same material are on left sleeve.
No decorative details on back of letterman sweater.
Letterman sweater has 2 front welt pockets.
