Black, ivory, white, and light blue polyester graduation hood worn and owned by John H. Finney at the Union Kempsville High School graduation ceremonies for 1963, 1964, and 1965. Mr. Finney taught History and Civics at Union Kempsville High School.

Description:
Academic graduation hood with black polyester outer shell, ivory polyester velvet exterior trim, and segmented bright white and light blue interior polyester fabric on the interior. A silky polyester chord attaches to a brown plastic button on the hood to help keep it in place when worn or on display.
