Confident by Vasu Tolia Image:
I wanted to create something intangible yet structured. To create that feeling between the defined green-striped silhouette and the fluid background , I generated this contradiction to ignite the imagination. The figure’s form is meticulously rendered with precise lines, attitude and a consistent pattern, and colors, while the warm, abstract orange and blue gradients flow freely around it, creating a surreal contrast. This work bridges abstract expressionism and modernity by blending figurative and non-figurative elements. I included dot-and-line connections to add complexity, suggesting themes of connection and isolation. I wanted to create an intrigue in the viewers to ponder its place within the contemporary art narrative, reflecting on how the boundaries of form and formlessness might coalesce.
