Gift of John Andrew MacMahon, Class of 1995
Fowler’s process in making his pieces is quite unique in that it is very detail oriented. He begins by producing drawings with graphite pencil. Stacking the papers together, he then cuts thin negative spaces out of the drawings. This creates delicate lace sheets. Next, he layers the cut outs on top of one another, designing an intricate work of art.
