Imari porcelain in China hit its peak during the 18th century with a palette of blue, iron red, and gold. The patterns on Chinese Imari differed from that seen on Japanese versions, the Chinese decorations were more flora, Chinese architecture, scholarly motifs, and Chinese figures.
