Scottish-American painter. McCay earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Fine Arts from the Glasgow School of Art followed by a second Masters Degree from the University of Notre Dame. His paintings draw inspiration from various expressionist groups and often exist in the space between what is abstract and real in an effort to capture and translate inspiring scenes in original ways.
