Artist: Malcolm Morley (British, b. 1931)
English painter. Morley's home was destroyed in WWII and his family become homeless. He discovered art in prison and then studied at the Camberwell College of Arts and the Royal College of Art. Throughout his career, he has moved through abstract, realist, neo-romantic, and neo-expressionist styles, with attention to his own biographical experiences. He is most recently known for his work in photorealism.
