American artist, poet, and musician. Attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he first started his psychedelic drawings. His work is uniquely recognizable for its use of soft, yet vibrant colors and his play between abstraction and fantasy. Field’s work was recently used as a cover for a Grateful Dead vinyl. Exploring watercolors as well, Field’s subject matter often comes from California culture and its stereotypes.
