American artist born in England. She moved to America with her parents when she was four years old. She was trained in oils originally, but has now progressed into other mediums by way of independent study. She has specialized in watercolor and ink renderings for over 50 years. Ellithorpe settled in Davidson, NC with her husband Chuck and daughter Jennifer in 1975.
