American artist. Attended the Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture and the Maryland Institute College of Arts before earning a MFA from the University of Pennsylvania. Satterwhite lives and works in New York, exploring queerness and identity through a number of media forms like 3-D animation, ethereal films, and drawing, while also utilizing public spaces as an arena for performance art.
