American printmaker and painter in both watercolor and oils. Known for his landscape paintings in the tonalist style, denoted by their misty effect. Invovled with the Pakatakan Artist Colony in New York. Work can be found in the collections of the Columbus (Ohio) Museum of Art, The Butler Museum of American Art, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, among others.
