Edna Tacon, O.S.A., (Canadian, 1905-1980), championed abstraction in Toronto from 1941-1947 with her exhibitions in the Fine Art Gallery at Etons College St. She is best known for her connection to the non-objective art movement and as a later member of the Canadian Group of Painters.
