American painter. Kessler earned his BA from Arizona State University where he was named the Outstanding Graduate in Studio Art (1972), and his MFA from The San Francisco Art Institute. His paintings feature refracted light that simulates paint and hybridization (aluminum wire brushes and paint) in an attempt to a create postmodern context. His work is exhibited internationally, including in Tokyo, Strasbourg, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Scottsdale, and New York.
