Artist: David A. Bumbeck (American, b. 1940)
David Bumbeck (American, b. 1940) is a printmaker, born in Massachusetts. He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a B.F.A. and Syracuse University with an MFA. He is since retired from Middlebury College in Vermont, after teaching for 20+ years. He is best known for his figural prints, which often use intaglio techniques. Bumbeck's work has been featured in the collections of the MET, Library of Congress, Carnegie Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum, and more.
