American photographer. Primarily photographs American daily life, including work in factories, the home, and youth, to explore the social issues of our time. He received is BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His works have been shown at the Yale University Art Gallery, the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History, the Nasher Museum of Art, and the North Carolina Museum of Art.
