  • Artist: Amy Namowitz Worthen (American, b. 1946)

Amy Namowitz Worthen is an American printmaker and curator from Brooklyn, New York who specializes in burin engraving. She received her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa. Worthen's prints are often a combination of architecture, nature, fantasy, and satire. Worthen is based out of both Des Moines, Iowa and Venice, Italy. In 2017, she retired from her position as the Curator of Prints and Drawings at Des Moines Art Center and is now the Emerita Curator of Prints.
