Artist: Abraham Storck (Dutch, d. 1708)
Dutch painter born in Amsterdam, the son of the painter Jan Jansz Sturck. Was trained by his father in the family workshop and joined the Guild of Saint Luke. Set up his personal workshop in 1666 with a focus on harbor scenes and landscape/cityscape paintings. Works were said to be influenced by the elder and younger Willem van de Veldes, Ludolf Bakhuizen and Jan Baptist Weenix.
