Image description:
A print depicting six women in various positions on the stairs of a gray wood building. All of the women are dressed in gray and black. They wear long dresses and shawls that streamline their figures into simple, rounded forms. Their postures, as they lean or sit, suggest that they intend to stay in place for a long time. Some of them are gazing at the scenery in the background of the picture. This scenery consists of horizontal tan and blue bands that hint at the presence of a beach and the sea.
