Artist statement:

This work draws inspiration from the bustling fast food joint, "In-N-Out." The repetitive behavior of people coming in and out of the restaurant triggered my interest. Interestingly, the words "In-N-Out" resonate with my painting practice. While a painting may seem complete, it always remains unfinished, possessing an active quality inherent to the medium. Each viewer interacts with the painting, reshaping it in their own unique way. A painting remains in flux, waiting to be reconstructed with every interaction.
