Inspired by John Gray's book by the same title, "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" series is depicting men with the statue of Ares Borghese Greek Ares=Roman Mars) and women with the statue of Venus of Milo (Greek Aphrodite=Roman Venus), both of which are in the Louvre Museum. A modern, urban art interpretation of the classical statues is done with spray paint and stenciling. The substrate of the artwork is an upcycled archery target, taken after practice, symbolic of the struggles and miscommunication between the sexes. This project is an exploration of identity and communication. Diptych 17x17 each on paper, framed with modern white metal frame.
