Graduated from Lycoming College.
Received his Master of Education from Temple University.
Taught art and art history at Wesley College, Dover, Delaware for 48 years.
Retired in 2012 having spent more than 55 years teaching.
He received his Doctorate in Fine Arts in 2014.
