This original piece was made over a period of time and finally able to find a new home.
I've made a piece similar to this one but sold it immediately, and it was so fun to make I decided to make a second one a little bigger. 30x24x1.5 inch gallery cradled profile wood panel. And created the texture from layers upon layers of crackle pastes and crackle grounds, modeling paste, Fibre pastes, acrylics, inks, gilding wax in gold and silver and polishing certain random parts with both giving a gunmetal sheen to the crackled areas.

This piece is pretty heavy due to the amount of resin used to be able to flood coat enough to cover the textures.
