A larger-than-life orange and white koi fish (a symbol of good fortune in some cultures) floats against a vivid blue background. Layers of poured resin create a convincing illusion of water, out of which the dorsal and tail fins literally rise up as three dimensional sculptural elements, made of epoxy clay.
