The tangerine tree bore fruit straight from heaven. Each seedless segment burst with honey-scented citrusy goodness. Alas, that tree has perished, but I had enough foresight to snap a picture of one year's harvest, washed in preparation for holiday gifting. That photograph is the basis of Satsuma Sunshine.
