Prelude to Wonderland

A violin is reborn as a fanciful imagining of the moment when a white rabbit makes a choice to become…the White Rabbit. Sculpted with epoxy clay, our rabbit is built onto the body of the violin, with a chin rest remade into a fluffy tail and violin string whiskers. He stretches up inquisitively to sniff a golden pocket watch, with a violin peg for a crown and strings for crazy clock hands. The watch is suspended by a chain of braided violin strings, and dangles from sculpted roses arising out of the scroll of the violin–red roses, to be precise, the signature color of the Queen of Hearts.
