MessageI love music. I dreamed of being a rockstar one day. When I was a kid one day, but how many people on earth will tell you to grow up? lol Music has helped me through my actions and decisions in life. Let's just say im a super daydreamer. Like when i feel bad, I'll remember something to do to help with my suffering. The motorcycle in the painting was to show uprising, uplifting, rebellion, and invincibility. The inspiration came listening to a lot of meatloaf and motley crue, but also the punk rock subculture.

The surreal images like the hooks pulling the painting apart were images that came to mind. It came from my love of Salvador Dali's Surrealism. My mind wanted to grasp me and the viewer of what feels real. Like the hook pulling down like a curtain. Or the hook that's pulling the painting, like ripping your wallpaper down, lol. The hooks were my feelings of pain, hurt, paranoia, and distressed memories. The purpose of that scene was for me to let go. The squids and octopuses going up and down the upstairs and downstairs. Was a cool idea of mine when just looking at walking upstairs and walking downstairs. One seems to look smaller going down, vs going up. I surrounded the arrows up and down to represent the Ups and Downs in Life. . . through colors.
