As climate change accelerates, we need to consider alternative ways to live. Aflame at the Edge of Existence imagines the liminal space between collapse and transformation—what happens at the edge when systems fail and new orders begin to form. The rhythmic, interwoven threads evoke waves of energy, fusion, and renewal, suggesting both destruction and rebirth. Using digital embroidery as a painterly medium, the work translates data-like precision into organic, fluid motion. The palette of luminous blues, golds, and ambers recalls heat, atmosphere, and elemental flow, merging the scientific and the mystical. At once meditative and charged, the piece invites reflection on the possibility of beauty within instability
