Pelican Reflection

I have been fascinated with pelicans for some time. They are so clumsy on land and yet so elegant in the air. This one cruises around Doctor's Cave Beach and I caught some reference photos of the reflections on the water, on a day when the sun was mild with less glare to confuse the camera.

Completed in watercolour colours and added mixed media on archival quality paper.
