- Carolina Cuevas
Carolina Cuevas was Artist in Residency from January to March in 2021. The cream monochrome, Jacquard weaving, has a hand-written poem by the artist that has been translated into a weaving pattern. The words are meant to seem like scars on the fabric.
English Translation:
Blood of my blood
cleanse me of my impurities
and ask me again why I am not complete
I no longer have a voice to speak,
I no longer have a voice
Ask me again why I am empty.
