From the Artist: I love color. Intense color. And I love texture that begs to be touched. Each element takes on a personality and its spatial relationship to all the other elements sets up conversations between them. A new work begins on my computer. The palette is shifted and the forms reorganized until I am satisfied—and then I give myself permission to interpret that original image with the abandon of a child.
