This quilt consists of individual blocks made by hand by first-year Santa Clara Valley Quilt Association (SCVQA) members. Members were given the white strips and asked to embroider their name and select their own color fabric for the block interior. A committee hand pieced the top and hand quilted the quilt. All members were invited to help quilting, regardless of their experience as quilters.
