Log Cabin design blocks, measuring about 8" have been set in the straight furrow (diagonal row) setting with pieced borders and the "interrupted" style of border corners. The various fabrics consist of plain, twill, and "repp" weaves, characteristic of the fabrics of the period. Cables have been quilted in the border.
