All cotton, friendship squares, embroidered names. The quilt was made by the members of the Kearney Baptist Church Sunday School Class and presented to the Pastor's wife when her husband retired from the Church in Kearney, Nebraska. One block has embroidered message “We Wan Chu Class 1926” which stands for “We want you in our class”. Quilting pattern is done in a diamonds Flowers motif, and butterflies. Registered with California Heritage Quilt Project #2939.
