“Epiphany” intends to express freedom, a state of realization and rebirth as we deal with the unknown, grief and transition. This digital work of art printed and face-mounted in Acrylic / Plexiglass pays tribute to my younger sister who succumbed to coronavirus in 2020 and it was created in November of the same year. The piece was inspired by a solo act of my personal friend Wilson Loria and eternalized in a photograph taken at the play “Os Vencedores” in Orlando, FL (To The Winners) in 2003.
