Psychology, being an integral part of my academic background, plays a significant role in my artistic exploration. I am intrigued by the complexities of the human mind, the intricacies of our emotions, and the ways in which our experiences shape our perceptions of the world. By incorporating psychological themes into my work, I aim to create a dialogue that encourages viewers to reflect on their own and other experiences regarding mental health.
Bio:
As a multi-media artist hailing from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, I am constantly exploring the realms of sculpture, jewelry, textiles, photography, found objects such as bones, and other oddities to create thought-provoking and visually captivating works. With a background in both ceramics and psychology, my artistic practice delves into the intersection of these disciplines, drawing inspiration from horror movies, psychology, death, fear, and religion. My fascination with horror serves as a catalyst for my creative process, allowing me to delve into the depths of the human psyche and explore the darker aspects of our existence. Through my art, I aim to challenge societal norms and provoke introspection, inviting viewers to confront their own fears and anxieties.
