"Closing In" is a watercolor on 300lb paper, in Windsor & Newton Professional watercolors. It depicts an owl flying through a grove of paper birch, zeroing in on his dinner.

I'm as self-taught artists working in watercolor, clay and other mediums with earthbound origins. I've been encouraged by my family to stretch beyond my home gallery and share my art with others. All of my work is derived from my own reference photos, cited references or from my imagination. I hope they give someone joy, as that is their only purpose.
