Silent Veil of Arctic Current is a 3x3 foot meditation on the impermanent nature of ice, water, and light. Part of the Organic Movement collection, the composition features a veil-like sweep created through Raj’s signature thread-painting technique. The palette of cool arctic blues and deep indigos creates a topography reminiscent of Zaria Forman’s atmospheric landscapes and Clyfford Still’s monumental fields. By layering submerged structures and threads of light, Raj captures the tension between deliberate control and spontaneous release. Ultimately, the work functions as a breathing environment that shifts with the light, inviting viewers to experience the flow of time.
