Echoes of Aquatic Grace is a meditation on the eternal rhythms of water within the Organic Movement Collection. Using a thread-painting technique, Raj pulls strands of paint into fluid, wave-like forms that capture the duality of calm and turbulence. The interplay of ultramarine, indigo, and white creates a structure that feels both architectural and ephemeral. While resonating with Mark Rothko’s color fields and Gerhard Richter’s gestural intensity, Raj focuses on movement as a generative force. Ultimately, the work avoids literal depiction to disclose a deeper, internal rhythm—the ebb and flow of being and the eternal return of presence in motion.
