¿Quizás el éxito debería ser determinado por los espectadores, mis seguidores? No estoy seguro, pero sé que los comentarios de mis espectadores son importantes, pero difíciles de obtener, aparte de los espectadores "en persona" en una exposición, por ejemplo. Por otro lado, tal vez es algo que debo determinar por mí mismo, cómo me siento acerca de la pintura en su conclusión, en cuanto a éxito o no. Finalmente, ¿qué es el éxito y cómo se define, en general y personalmente? Buenas preguntas, creo. ¿Qué piensas?

English:
Sometimes things in the beginning, as I start to paint, go strangely and I feel kind of lost, uncertain and doubt creeps in. It happened with this painting. But at the same time I understand such feelings and beginnings have happened before, and then I calm myself and reflect back upon those times. I remember that in the past I was able to overcome these same feelings that shook me, for a very short time, and then I moved forward in faith and growing confidence that I would finish with a successful painting.

Perhaps success should be determined by the viewers, my followers? Not sure, but I do know feedback is important from my viewers but hard to come by, other than from "in person" viewers at an exhibition, for example. On the other hand maybe it is something I should self determine, how I feel about the painting at it's conclusion, as to successful or not. Finally, what is success and how is it defined, in general and personally? Good questions I think. What do you think?
