This piece is about the Ceuta border crossing in Morocco - a mass of wire steel and observation towers designed to prevent immigrants from Africa crossing into this enclave of Europe in Africa. The work is on an old truck tarpaulin - a material often used by the migrants to build makeshift shelters. It contrasts strongly with the other Ceuta paintings I have made that are much more hopeful
