This painting started out 20 years ago as a pure, loose, red and pink abstract called, “Metamorphisis”. Although at the time it made me happy, it was now kind of a waste of canvas, so i snapped my fingers and turned it into a guide/totem for the entrance to to the last section of my life.
I chose my favorite bird, the “I-Mean -Business -Roadrunner”, to pass it;s badass self on to me.
I have watched a nonchalant roadrunner bash a full size rattlesnake against the ground to its exhausted death.
