Saris are my favorite clothing. Easy to wear and glamorous. Some of the colors are dramatic and some almost somber. And some are just sweetly beautiful.

When I made this style of necklace, I was experimenting with both the weaves and the beads, and of course with colors. This set of colors reminded me of the beautiful saris that fascinated me.

This necklace is the last of this style. The weaves are a triangular weave for the base and overlapping loops in three levels for the fringe.
