"La Doña" is intricately beadwoven using a variety of weaving techniques to create a work dramatic enough for the opera (attending or staging!). The majority of the beads are vintage seed beads with a special single facet on one side of their surface. this gives them an extra sparkle as light bounces off in unexpected directions.
