Is Monochrome really still a part of the Cold Spectrum series? Yes, it is! In this painting, the purple has spread out and overwhelmed the other colors with riotous swirls and twists. The rest of the colors seem to have merged to become the hints of white that are playing with the dominant dark violet. Perhaps even attempting to mix into a lighter hue?
