I set myself the challenge of creating something interesting (as well as pretty) using only one color. Not a color I use a lot of, this honey amber or butterscotch coloring was an obvious choice because of the variety of beads I had somehow gathered all in that family.

It's all about the beads, though. The design elements make use of the contrasts of size and finish to make its point.
