I LOVE musicians! I love guitar players! I love guitars! I love going to rock concerts! And, of course, I LOVE Tommy Shaw from STYX! This painting was juried into the prestigious Oil Painters of America Eastern Regional Show fall of 2018 and was on display at the McBride Gallery in Annapolis, MD and featured in the Art Collectors of America magazine Nov 2018.

It was also one of the 150 paintings (out of 1000 submitted paintings) selected for the fall 2018 NOAPS on line show. The judge for this show said: This composition draws our attention. Built on the left half of the surface, it adds interest and the air of performance transporting us into the notes of the music.
