Hawaii is one of our favorite places to visit. I love the music, the culture, just everything about it! So, when I thought about doing a still life of my favorite things from our travels I decided to focus on the music and the plants. I started with my ukulele that I brought back from Hawaii, a CD of IZ, the music book I needed to play my ukulele, seashells, plumeria blossoms I grew, and then I used a fabric I brought back from Hawaii as the backdrop. Such a happy painting!!
